RBLP is the only nationally recognized series of leadership certifications. Our tiered certification program allows frontline, experienced, and senior managers to validate all of the leadership knowledge, skills, and experience they have gained getting the work done in their organizations.
RBLP leadership certifications have significant college credit recommendations from the American Council on Education (ACE).
Our certifications are listed on the U.S. Department of Labor CareerOneStop site as a workforce development resource for employees and employers. The U.S. Department of Defense credentialing programs and the GI Bill fund our certifications for military personnel and veterans.

The Allentown–Bethlehem PA metro area, often referred to as the Lehigh Valley, is a vibrant and growing region in eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey. Spanning an area of about 730 square miles, this metro area houses approximately 830,000 residents. It encompasses Lehigh and Northampton counties in Pennsylvania and Warren County in New Jersey. The major cities in this area include Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton, each contributing distinctively to the region’s character and development.
Allentown, the largest city in the metro area, is a hub of cultural and economic activity. Bethlehem, known for its rich industrial history and cultural heritage, and Easton, with its charming downtown and historical significance, complement the urban mosaic of the Lehigh Valley.
Geographically, the Allentown-Bethlehem metro area is characterized by its rolling hills, picturesque valleys, and the Lehigh River, which runs through the region. This varied landscape offers a mix of urban environments, suburban communities, and rural beauty.
Economically, the area has diversified significantly from its historical roots in steel manufacturing and heavy industry. Today, the area’s economy is robust, with a strong presence in healthcare, education, and logistics. Major employers include Lehigh Valley Health Network and St. Luke’s University Health Network, contributing significantly to the region’s employment and healthcare services. Additionally, the presence of large distribution and fulfillment centers, due to the area’s strategic location near major Northeastern markets, bolsters the local economy.
Education plays a vital role in the metro area. Institutions such as Lehigh University in Bethlehem and Lafayette College in Easton are renowned for their academic excellence and research initiatives. Muhlenberg College and DeSales University, both located in Allentown, further contribute to the region’s educational landscape, offering diverse programs and cultural experiences.
Culturally, the area is rich with arts, music, and historical sites. The annual Musikfest in Bethlehem is one of the largest music festivals in the nation, drawing visitors from across the country. The Allentown Art Museum and the historic State Theatre in Easton offer cultural experiences ranging from visual arts to performing arts. The region’s history is showcased in landmarks such as the Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites and the National Canal Museum in Easton.
Sports are enthusiastically supported in the metro area. The Lehigh Valley IronPigs, a Minor League Baseball team affiliated with the Philadelphia Phillies, play in Allentown and have a strong local following. College sports, particularly football and basketball at Lehigh University and Lafayette College, also draw significant attention and foster regional pride.
Major attractions in the Allentown-Bethlehem metro area include Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, offering family-friendly amusement and waterpark fun. The Crayola Experience in Easton is a popular destination for families, celebrating creativity and color. The natural beauty of the region is on display at the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, providing outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, and scenic drives.
