The Everett, WA metro area, encompassing Snohomish County, is part of the greater Seattle-Tacoma, WA metropolitan region. Everett, the largest city and county seat, anchors the metro area and plays a crucial role in its economic and cultural life.

The area’s geography also features river valleys and dense forests, providing a scenic backdrop to the urban and suburban communities within the area.
Economically, the Everett metro area is primarily driven by the aerospace, technology, and healthcare sectors. Boeing’s assembly plant in Everett is one of the largest building structures in the world in terms of volume. It serves as the major employer in the area, primarily focusing on the assembly of large aircraft like the 747, 767, 777, and 787 Dreamliner. This facility significantly influences the local economy, supporting numerous subcontractors and related businesses. The technology sector is also burgeoning, with many IT and tech companies benefiting from proximity to Seattle’s tech hub. Additionally, healthcare facilities such as Providence Regional Medical Center Everett provide substantial employment and healthcare services to the local population.
