Henderson, southeast of Las Vegas, is known for its residential communities and growing commercial sectors. North Las Vegas contributes to the area’s economic diversity with its mix of residential areas and industrial development. The region, encompassing Clark County, includes a variety of landscapes from urban centers to quieter suburban and rural areas.

The area offers attractions for various interests. The Las Vegas Strip, with its casinos, hotels, and replicas of global landmarks, is a major tourist draw. For outdoor adventures, Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and Lake Mead National Recreation Area offer hiking, boating, and scenic vistas.
