RBLP is the only nationally recognized series of leadership certifications. Our tiered certification program allows frontline, experienced, and senior managers to validate all of the leadership knowledge, skills, and experience they have gained getting the work done in their organizations.
RBLP leadership certifications have significant college credit recommendations from the American Council on Education (ACE).
Our certifications are listed on the U.S. Department of Labor CareerOneStop site as a workforce development resource for employees and employers. The U.S. Department of Defense credentialing programs and the GI Bill fund our certifications for military personnel and veterans.

Manhattan, NY, also known as New York County, is the smallest and most densely populated of the five boroughs of New York City. As part of the greater New York-Newark-Jersey City, NY-NJ-PA metropolitan region, Manhattan covers about 23 square miles and houses approximately 1.6 million residents. That number that swells to several million more during the workweek due to the influx of commuters. Renowned for its iconic skyline and as a global cultural and financial hub, Manhattan offers a compact but expansive landscape filled with some of the world’s most recognized landmarks and institutions.
Geographically, Manhattan consists of a central island bordered by the Hudson, East, and Harlem Rivers, with several smaller adjacent islands, including Roosevelt Island and Governors Island. The layout is famously gridded, primarily above Houston Street, with long avenues running north-south and streets east-west. Its compact geography supports a vast network of public transportation, including subways, buses, and taxis, facilitating easy movement throughout the borough.
Manhattan’s economy is among the largest and most influential globally, with Wall Street acting as the heart of the financial sector. It hosts the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ, two of the world’s largest stock exchanges. Major employers also include multinational corporations across various sectors, such as finance, media, technology, and real estate. Corporations such as JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, and NBCUniversal have their headquarters here, contributing significantly to its economic robustness.
Education in Manhattan is top tier, with institutions such as New York University (NYU) and Columbia University leading in research and higher learning. NYU’s campus integrates into the city fabric primarily around Washington Square Park, offering diverse programs in arts, law, and business. Columbia, located in Upper Manhattan, is part of the Ivy League and is noted for its rigorous programs in medicine, business, and the humanities. The borough also hosts a variety of other colleges and universities, contributing to a vibrant academic community.
Culturally, Manhattan is unmatched with an extensive array of museums, theaters, and galleries. It is home to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the American Museum of Natural History, and the Museum of Modern Art, which attract millions of visitors annually. Broadway, centered in the Theater District near Times Square, showcases a constant stream of performances ranging from experimental theater to big-budget musicals.
Due to space constraints, sports teams do not have a large presence directly in Manhattan, but the borough has a profound influence on sports as media and marketing powerhouses. It does host the New York Knicks and New York Rangers, both of which play at Madison Square Garden, a world-renowned venue for sports and entertainment.
Major attractions in Manhattan cover a wide range of interests and histories. The Statue of Liberty, a gift from France located on Liberty Island, is accessible from Battery Park and remains a universal symbol of freedom. Central Park, another significant landmark, offers a natural escape with its 843 acres of paths, lakes, and open fields in the center of the borough. Additionally, the High Line provides a unique linear park built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side.
