Major attractions in the Prince George metro area include the Exploration Place Museum and Science Centre, which offers interactive exhibits exploring the region’s natural history, culture, and science. The Ancient Forest, located just outside the city, is a popular destination for hiking and exploring ancient cedar trees, some of which are over 1,000 years old.
