RBLP is the only nationally recognized series of leadership certifications. Our tiered certification program allows frontline, experienced, and senior managers to validate all of the leadership knowledge, skills, and experience they have gained getting the work done in their organizations.
RBLP leadership certifications have significant college credit recommendations from the American Council on Education (ACE).
Our certifications are listed on the U.S. Department of Labor CareerOneStop site as a workforce development resource for employees and employers. The U.S. Department of Defense credentialing programs and the GI Bill fund our certifications for military personnel and veterans.

The Slidell-Mandeville LA metro area, strategically positioned on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain, encompasses the eastern part of St. Tammany Parish in Louisiana. This area, covering roughly 845 square miles, supports a population of approximately 273,000 residents, making it a significant suburban extension of the New Orleans metropolitan area. Major cities within this metro area include Slidell, Mandeville, and Covington, each contributing distinctively to the area’s character and growth.
The Slidell-Mandeville area’s geography is marked by its proximity to Lake Pontchartrain to the south and the vast pine forests and wetlands that characterize much of St. Tammany Parish. This setting provides numerous opportunities for outdoor recreation and has become a draw point for tourists seeking natural beauty and for residents desiring a quieter lifestyle away from the urban intensity of New Orleans.
Economically, the Slidell-Mandeville area is diverse, with sectors like retail, healthcare, and education driving growth. Major employers include the St. Tammany Parish Public School System and Ochsner Health System, which operates several facilities throughout the parish. The area’s economy also benefits from a strong small business presence, supported by tourism, especially in areas close to the lake where dining, shopping, and hospitality businesses thrive.
Educationally, the area is served by several high-quality public and private schools. Higher education is accessible via the Northshore Technical Community College, which offers a variety of vocational and technical programs that cater to the local job market. Southeastern Louisiana University, located just outside the metro area in Hammond, also serves many residents of St. Tammany Parish with programs in business, education, nursing, and more.
Culturally, Slidell and Mandeville offer a vibrant arts scene with numerous galleries, theaters, and live music venues. The Dew Drop Jazz & Social Hall in Mandeville is one of the oldest rural jazz dance halls in the United States, and it continues to host live jazz performances. Slidell hosts the annual Slidell Jazz and Blues Festival, which celebrates the area’s rich musical heritage. Additionally, the St. Tammany Art Association in Covington promotes the arts through exhibitions, workshops, and educational programs.
While there are no major professional sports teams in the area, sports play a significant role in community life. Local high school football is particularly popular, and sailing and fishing are common activities given the area’s access to extensive waterways and Lake Pontchartrain.
Major attractions in the Slidell-Mandeville metro area include the Northlake Nature Center, which offers miles of hiking trails through diverse ecosystems, and Fontainebleau State Park, located near Mandeville. The park provides beautiful lakefront views, camping facilities, and historical sites. The Tammany Trace, a 31-mile-long paved trail connecting multiple communities across St. Tammany Parish, attracts cyclists and runners across the region.
