Known for its research programs and vibrant campus life, Syracuse University contributes significantly to the local economy and cultural scene. Other important educational institutions include Le Moyne College and the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, which offer a range of academic programs and enrich the region’s intellectual climate.
Culturally, the area boasts a rich arts and entertainment scene. The Everson Museum of Art, Syracuse Stage, and the Landmark Theatre provide venues for visual and performing arts.
