Follow these Steps to use Air Force COOL/CA

Step 1.

Apply for certification on the RBLP Leadership Certifications website. Our application is free and takes less than 10 minutes to complete. We recommend the following guidance for Air Force COOL funding:

  • RBLP is for paygrades E4-E6 (Aspiring and New Managers)
  • RBLP Coach is for paygrades E6/E7 (Experienced Managers)
  • RBLP Trainer is for paygrades E7-E9 (Senior Managers)

Hundreds of Airmen have earned one of the RBLP Leadership Certifications since 2020. Connect with them on LinkedIn by searching RBLP, click the People tab, click Current company and enter U.S. Air Force.

Step 2.

Request Air Force COOL funding for your certification prep training and certification exam at the same time. Air Force CA requires you to create a learning goal and provide two quotes, one for the prep course and one for the certification exam.

Step 3.

Air Force COOL/CA will fund your exam prep training about one week prior to your course date.

Step 4.

After you complete the prep training, schedule your certification exam using the voucher code sent by RBLP after the Air Force funds your exam. During scheduling, you are required to upload the training completion certificate provided by your instructor.

Plus, get College Credit!

The American Council on Education (ACE) recommends three semester hours of college credit for the RBLP Leadership Certifications.

No COOL/CA Benefits?

Pay for prep training and certification exams using SF-182 and GCPC

Military units can pay for certification prep training and certification exams using Standard Form 182 (Request, Authorization, Agreement, and Certification for Training) and the Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC). Text RBLP Customer Support at 213-205-6100 for assistance.
