Follow these Steps to use Marine Corps COOL

Step 1. Apply for certification on the RBLP Leadership Certifications website. Our application is free and takes less than 10 minutes to complete. We recommend the following guidance for Marine Corps COOL funding:

RBLP is for paygrades E4-E6 (Aspiring and Frontline Managers)
RBLP Coach is for paygrades E6/E7 (Experienced Managers)
RBLP Trainer is for paygrades E7-E9 (Senior Managers)

Hundreds of Marines have earned one of the RBLP Leadership Certifications since 2020. Connect with them on LinkedIn by searching RBLP, click the People tab, click Current company and enter U.S. Marine Corps.

Step 2. Request Marine Corps COOL funding for your certification exam. Marine Corps COOL requires a copy of the email from RBLP approving your application for certification.

The Marine Corps COOL Funding Request Form requires you to enter an exam date. Please enter an estimated exam date about 60 days out. Enter RBLP as the credentialing agency.

The Marine Corps pays the certification exam fee directly to RBLP, usually in 1-2 days. You will receive an exam voucher code from RBLP after the Marine Corps funds your exam.

Step 3. Purchase exam prep training from an RBLP Authorized Training Partner (ATP). Prep training prepares you for the oral certification exam and is required. Text RBLP Customer Support at 213-205-6100 for assistance.

RBLP-T exam prep – $595

Step 4. After you complete the prep training, schedule your certification exam using the voucher code sent by RBLP after the Marine Corps funded your exam. During scheduling, you are required to upload the training completion certificate provided by your ATP instructor.
