Follow these Steps to use Army COOL/CA

Step 1. Apply for certification on the RBLP Leadership Certifications website. Our application is free and takes less than 10 minutes to complete. We recommend the following guidance for Army COOL funding:

RBLP is for paygrades E4-E6 (Aspiring and Frontline Managers)
RBLP Coach is for paygrades E6/E7, W1-W3, O1-O3 (Experienced Managers)
RBLP Trainer is for paygrades E7-E9, W3-W5, O3-O5 (Senior Managers)

Step 2. Request Army CA funding for your exam prep training and certification exam at the same time. Army CA requires you to create a learning goal in Army IgnitED and provide two quotes, one for the prep course and one for the certification exam. Choose a start date for both prep training and exam 45-60 days out. The Army expects you to complete the training and exam within a year of that start date.

The Army pays our Training Partners directly for the exam prep training. The Army pays the certification exam fee directly to RBLP. You will receive an exam voucher code from RBLP after the Army funds your exam.

Step 3. Army CA typically funds prep training and certification exams approximately one week before the start date you selected. After receiving your funding notification, contact your RBLP Training Partner to schedule your exam prep training. All of our Training Partners customize training schedules based on the students’ availability.

Step 4. After you complete the prep training, schedule your certification exam using the voucher code sent by RBLP after the Army funds your exam. During scheduling, you are required to upload the training completion certificate provided by your ATP instructor.
